Balkan Services has implemented the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and Business Intelligence (BI) system BusinessPace at Technovit, a manufacturer and distributor of paints and speciality chemicals for the light industry.

Technovit was looking for a technology solution to manage its operations and improve control over its business, combined with an analytics piece that aggregated sales information.

After recommending Balkan Services' products and consulting services, Technovit chose the off-the-shelf Enterpoint ERP solution and BusinessPace business analytics software. The two systems were implemented in parallel, are connected and have been working as one organism for almost 1 year.

The implementation of ERP software at Technovit

took about a month. At the same time, training of the key users was conducted, which allowed the company to start working with the system quickly.

The solution covers the company's core business processes - warehouse management, sales, purchasing, specific kitting and in-house paint mixing.

The Balkan Services team assisted in implementing the first monthly close in the Enterpoint software, and the documents were delivered on time.

A new version of the item code has also been created. The product number provides information on the category, type, and division of the product.

The information on the number of transactions entered into the ERP system and subsequently into the BI software allows analysis of the traders' results.

BusinessPace system of "Technovit"

covers the company's leading sales indicators, such as the average number of sales per trader, average turnover per trader, and sales by category.

The software has been fed with historical data since 2019. This functionality allows the company to compare sales data by period, manufacturer, brand, product type, package, partner, city, and merchant.

Functionality has also been created to calculate the proportion of overdue receivables.

The combination of the two systems automates Technovit's business management. The ERP system facilitates process traceability and optimizes flow operationally, while the BI system reflects on management and decision direction.
