At Balkan Services we know that business software can significantly improve every company's processes, as it facilitates the resource optimization and increases efficiency. We are also well aware that even the best software cannot be fully effective if it is not used at its full capacity. Therefore, we believe users' trainings are crucial to the successful finalization of every project.
In order to meet the needs for additional information and qualification of our clients, we have created several specialized trainings focused on practical skills, which has become a general practice. Our first specialized BI training was conducted in 2007, and several years later we introduced BI MasterClass—a training for professionals. In 2016 our first seminar on financial consolidation and planning via LucaNet was held.
BI
The one-day practical Business Intelligence course "Business Analysis for Successful Management" was the first specialized training, which Balkan Services organized. The first course started in 2007, and since then we have conducted more than 20 trainings, attended by 250 people. The training lasts for a day and has two main modules: theoretical and practical. The course is suitable for managers, employees from reporting and controlling departments, risk departments, HR and IT managers, accountants, Excel power-users and everyone, engaged in huge volumes of data analysis. All participants receive a certificate for successful completion of a BI course.
BI MasterClass
Since 2014, a two-day BI MasterClass course for professionals is also available. It is suitable for specialists, who deal with data analysis directly and use the BI solutions QlikView or Qlik Sense on a daily basis. The training takes 2 days, which allows participants to acquire thorough knowledge and deal with practical cases. The course includes several modules, important for every professional, engaged in business analysis: data loading, data warehouse modelling and optimization, project design, server management, mobile apps, etc. All participants receive a certificate for successful completion of a BI course.
LucaNet seminar
The seminar for financial consolidations via the specialized software LucaNet took place for the first time in 2016. The seminar has both theoretical and practical modules. It covers current changes in IFRS, latest updates and related explanations, all connected to financial statements consolidation. Amongst the seminar's aims are those of introducing participants to the best practices in the field of expertise, as well as presenting the functions of the specialized financial consolidation software—LucaNet. All participants receive a certificate for successful completion of a course.
