Top Drinks (leading distributor of beer, hard and soft drinks ) IT team in cooperation with Balkan Services successfully completed the integration of a Business Intelligence solution – Qlik View. In three months a data base and interfaces to the basic systems used in the company were developed. A lot of references were made concerning commercial and other types of activities. One of the basic systems, data sources in the company, is the ERP Microsoft Axapta solution.
According to Pavel Stefanov, Director of Information Department in Top Drinks, the short time needed for training of end users allowed his team to focus on the business meaning of data, but not on the software platform, on which the solution is realized. As an advantage for QlikView he identified also the acceptable license price, which combined with lower time consumption in development of new references results in low overall TCO and good price / benefits proportion.
