For the sixth year in a row Qlik is one of the leaders in Gartner’s magical quadrant for Business Intelligence and analytical platforms. The study for 2016 stirred discussions because of the different way in which vendors were evaluated. As a result, as seen in the study for 2016, the leadership square includes only three vendors, one of them Qlik. A large part of traditionally strong companies in the field, such as SAP, IBM, Oracle, MicroStrategy, and SAS, have left it, and have positioned themselves in the visionaries’ square. According to Gartner such a change is necessary and reflects the current market transformation.

Qlik has retained its leading positions, and has even developed its technology in terms of data visualisation. This is namely one of the criteria evaluated by Gartner as important for the future development of Business Intelligence market – the possibility for interactive visualisations which meet the individual preferences of each BI user, along with the flexible work process.
The solutions offered by the company – QlikView and Qlik Sense, ensure work is done within seconds, possibility to process a vast amount of data, and, last but not least, information security. This makes the solutions suitable both for small and medium companies, and for large organisations.
