Why do we need a system for Business Intelligence, what are the benefits and advantages of this type of software, and how can it increase businesses’ competitiveness - these and similar questions will be the focus of the training "Strategic management through an effective system for analysis and reporting" which will be held on 21 May at the Elieff Center for Education and Culture of the American University in Bulgaria, Sofia. The event is organized by the consulting company Balkan Services and is aimed at Bulgarian executives and business owners, financial and operational directors, IT managers, chief accountants and other users working with large volume of business data.
"Today, companies generate increasing amounts of data that remain unused, although they hold serious business opportunities and are an inexhaustible source for the optimization of processes and the rise of efficiency. The other types of systems, such as ERP, MRP, CRM or payroll, do not allow business users to do analyses on the go using multiple sources with convenient, intuitive interface. This is where the role of Business Intelligence software comes into place, offering the possibility of significant increase in the company’s competitiveness," said Vladimir Rashev, Managing Partner of Balkan Services.
The training participants will become thoroughly familiar with the software of the class Business Intelligence (BI), with its advantages and its role in more effective management decision-making, and tracking of key performance indicators (KPI). They will be introduced to the Business Intelligence solution QlikView, with a special focus on its mobile version for smartphones and tablets. Experts from Balkan Services will present the best practices and projects of the company related to the implementation of BI software in different types of businesses.
