The Fanatic Angling Club was founded in December 2021 by six keen anglers and close friends.
Vladislav Yotov, a co-worker and Head of Soft1 & Atlantis ERP, partner at Balkan Services and a graduate instructor in sport fishing at the National Sports Academy, is the club’s president and one of its founders. He was seeded No. 10 (out of 44) in the provisional national individual rankings, and the Fanatic Club was seeded fifth (out of 10) in the team rankings.
Balkan Services supports active lifestyle and initiatives of its employees, including the activities of the Fanatic Angling Club.
The club's goal is to get as far as 3rd place in the final overall standings by the end of 2022. It is the team's aspiration to represent our country at international events.
In March 2022 our team won the Bulgarian Angling Federation Trophy, and in June and August took part in the first 2 rounds of the National Angling Championship. The season will close down in October at the final third round of the championship.
The club is united not only by the angling passion, but also by the mission to develop the skills of the younger generations of the children's and youth sports fishing school, with whom it actively works.
