Happy Bar & Grill is a chain of restaurants in Bulgaria, Barcelona and London. Its facilities are located in the central parts of most large cities, along the highways, main roads of the country, as well as in one of the largest European cities — Barcelona. The group also includes the restaurants Captain Cook, Happy Sushi (SaSa), as well as the fast-growing delivery service — Happy Delivery.
Several separate BI applications have been implemented with a focus on the main processes of the activity of the company. The main ones are for restaurant sales ranging from the level of receipt and table to customer service, warehouse and kitchen inventory, financial reporting, personnel, and HR processes. Multiple references based on the Happy template have been built, including additional visualization, references generators, dashboards. The necessary consistencies (mapping) between the various systems have been created in order for a complete analysis of the processes and uniform nomenclature to be ensured.
In December 2018, Happy took another step toward its Business Intelligence analytics by deploying its new application, which had already been built on top of Qlik Sense — an analytics solution based on an associative database that provides extensive visualization capabilities and is available from all devices — computer, tablet, and smartphone. Thus, the company migrated to the so-called "dual usage" (QlikView and Qlik Sense), thus successfully combining the advantages of both products achieving more flexible reports, clear visualizations and new capabilities.
